The Last Show (The Top 13 of '13)

This edition of Thrashing Thursdays was our last on the NEW 90.3 FM WKNJ and because it was the last show on the station for 2013 we decided to give you a special treat. On the second to last edition of Thrashing Thursdays we decided to kick it old school (not the awful Jamie Kennedy movie). This show featured music from the 70's, 80's and 90's with great bands like Black Sabbath, Death, My Dying Bride, Iced Earth, Blind Illusion and ho so much more.

Special Guest Joins Us




On the November 21st edition of Thrashing Thursdays we had our first ever guest on the show. The lovely Michelle Middleberg joined the show and played some of her favorite songs from bands Like Every Time I Die and Vanstone. Neck Deep In Metal

This show featured new music from The Ongoing Concept and Wilson. We also brought you music from Every Time I Die, Pig Destroyer, The Chariot, Entombed and much more.

Metaltober

On our first show of October we delivered with some awesome music. The show featured Motorhead's new song "Heartbreaker" along with music from Mouth of the Architect, Kvelertak, Converge and other kick ass bands. We talked about Suicide Silence's new singer and Metallica's 3D movie opening in theaters. We also introduced you to a little known punk band from Detroit in the Thrashing Thursday Throwback Track of the Week. Enjoy!

Getting Back Into the Swing of Things



We had some technical troubles in the studio, but after we shorted all of that out we brought you some of the best hard rock and heavy metal music there is. The show got back to its routes, bringing you all of the latest news in the heavy metal community with 'This Week In Metal". This semester the Thrashing Thursday Throwback Track of the Week will feature lesser known bands and we kicked that  off as well. The show also featured new music from Newsted and Stray From the Path and much more.

Back and Better Than Ever!

In the first show of the fall semester, we some of the best music that was released over the summer. The show featured bands like Black Sabbath, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Revocation, August Burns Red and much, much more. We also filled you in on other albums that came out in the summer of '13 that you should definitely check out.

Sending You Into Summer The Right Way

This past Thursday's edition of the show was the last of the fall semester and was a special commercial-free episode. We saw the return of Writer's Block with covers from Killswitch Engage, Children of Bodom and Opeth. I also picked out some music from some of my favorite bands like Every Time I Die, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Barn Burner, Red Fang, Black Breath and many others. The Golden Gods Awards and Much More



On the May 2nd edition of Thrashing Thursdays we gave you and in-depth preview of the Golden Gods which took place that night. The show also featured new music from The Black Dahlia Murder and Nails as well as music from Candlemass, Iron Maiden, Emmure and many others. 

The Sabbath on a Thursday?

On April the 25th I has the esteemed pleasure to bring you new music from the heavy metal Gods themselves BLACK SABBATH!!!!!! I talked about the Rockstar Uproar Festival and some albums that you should all go out and get that will be coming to you over the summer. The show also featured music from Cancer Bats, Slayer, The Acacia Strain, Warbringer and others.

Metal Metal and More Metal



On the April18th edition of Thrashing Thursdays we talked about the passing of Deftones' bassist Chi Cheng and payed tribute by playing some Deftones. The show also featured our Writer's Block segment featuring covers from Between The Buried And Me and Amon Amarth and some new music from Pyrithion.

And The Winner Is........



The tenth installment of Thrashing Thursdays from April 11th brings you the finals of the March Metal Madness tournament. I talked about the album that won and featured a hand full of songs from the album. We also played new music from Terror and Volbeat. Give it a listen to see who won.

March Metal Madness Continues

This show from April 4th brought you a new segment called Writer's Block which features metal cover songs. I also talked about the Quarter and Semi Finals of the March Metal Madness tournament and brought you new music from Kvelertak. There was other music featured on the show from The Bronx, Job For A Cowboy, kyng and Jimi Hendrix.

Up and Running Again



First off I'd like to give a big F U to divshare for giving me so many problems with uploading the show, but they couldn't stop me for long. This is the eight installment of Thrashing Thursday from March 28th. On the show I introduced loudwire.com's March Metal Madness tournament which featured 32 of the best metal albums of all time.
